We’re delighted to announce that Renewable Parts' own Freddy Pullar, has taken home the Business Development Award at Scottish Renewables' Young Professionals Green Energy Awards 2018!
The award recognises Freddy's contributions to not just to Renewable Parts, but to the wider industry.
An enthusiastic member of the team since 2016, in a short space of time Fred has built and launched supply chain capability around several turbine types and is now in charge of the operational side of the business. His work, largely around re-introducing a supply chain for Endurance turbines and implementing customised software to help manage customers inventory levels has reduced supply chain cost across the catalogue ultimately driving down the cost of turbine ownership for our customers.
The awards ceremony, hosted by Scottish Renewables, took place on Thursday 24th May and saw hundreds of representatives from the Wind Industry join together at Glasgow Science Centre to celebrate the Year of Young People in Scotland, and the achievements of the nominees.
Scottish Renewables chief executive Claire Mack commenting, “I’m very impressed by the level of talent showcased at the Young Professionals Green Energy Awards this year. The winners have shown skills beyond their years of experience and they are certainly punching well above their weight in their new careers. They are truly the best and brightest of our industry.”
The evening itself was well thoroughly enjoyed by both Renewable Parts and the customers we invited to share our table. Keith Anderson, CEO of ScottishPower opened the evening with a drinks reception, which was followed by a delicious, sustainably sourced dinner and talks from key industry figures such as CEO of ScottishPower Renewables, Lindsay McQuade and Chairman of Scottish Renewables, Rob Forrest. After-show entertainment came in the form of talented musical entertainment from Scottish duo Able Faces and tasty treats from Tantrum Doughnuts.
With over 20 years experience in wind turbine maintenance and parts supply, we have the technical expertise to help you reduce costs whilst maximising availability levels.
