This month in our "Meet The Team" blog series get to know Fraser, RPL's resident jukebox and Warehouse and Logistics Manager.
One of RPL's longest running members of staff, if you've worked with us before, chances are you already know who he is!
You can already discover more about each member of the RPL team on our about us page where a short bio and picture will give you a quick peek behind the curtain to see who’s making the magic happen, but for a bigger insight into our world we’re releasing monthly blogs on our website & social medias centred around getting to know a different member of the Renewable Parts team in each post.
We kicked off the series in late 2018, so make sure you go back and find out more about the team members already interviewed!
How long have you been at Renewable Parts and what is your role?
I joined RPL in July 2015. Starting as a warehouseman, I was promoted to Warehouse Manager within a year.
What does your average day entail?
My day is never average, but it consists of preparing daily KPIs, dealing with enquires from customers and suppliers as well as our own sales team, I organise the workload of the warehouse team and plan weekly deliveries.
Why did you choose to work at Renewable Parts?
Initially I was looking for a role closer to home so the location really appealed to me, shortly after joining I realised I’d made the right decision as there was opportunity for progression and the whole company has a great vibe about it.
What is your favourite part of the job?
Seeing the receiving floor full of material early in the morning, but at the end of the day it has all been received onto the system and issued back out to our customers.
What 3 words would you use to describe the culture at Renewable Parts?
Driven, Attentive, Dependable.
When you are not working hard at Renewable Parts what are you most likely to be doing?
I’m very social and am out most weekends for a spiced rum or two, I also go walking 2-3 times a week. I love travelling, especially to NYC where I've been several times; but going to see St Mirren is my real passion.
With over 20 years experience in wind turbine maintenance and parts supply, we have the technical expertise to help you reduce costs whilst maximising availability levels.
