The team at wind turbine parts specialist Renewable Parts has been shortlisted for an award in the Scottish Green Energy Supply Chain Awards 2024, organised and run by Scottish Renewables. The awards are a significant event in the renewable energy industry in Scotland and celebrates the elite in the renewable energy supply chain.

The successful nomination in the Green Energy Skills Awards category commends groups or organisations going above and beyond to prepare the energy workforce of the future. Renewable Parts has been acknowledged for its ongoing dedication to developing the skills of young people through apprenticeship programmes at its Innovation Centre in Lochgilphead, Argyll and Bute.

In an area of Scotland traditionally dominated by careers in tourism and hospitality, Renewable Parts has committed to supporting young people to earn as well as gaining recognised qualifications, boosting the growth of the renewable energy sector and the creation of a skilled workforce.
