We're excited to announce that Renewable Parts' own Freddy Pullar has been shortlisted as a Business Development Award finalist for Scottish Renewables' Young Professionals Green Energy Awards 2018!
2018 is officially the Year of Young People in Scotland (YOYP18). The aim of the year is to celebrate the achievements of the young people, valuing their contribution and creating new opportunities for them to shine locally, nationally and globally. Activities for the year are based around key themes developed by young people, which include enterprise and regeneration.
To tie in with the years activities, Scottish Renewables have launched their Young Professionals Green Energy Awards 2018. Recognising those young people who have achieved beyond all expectations, those who are pioneering new ideas and have the drive and ambition to change the renewable energy industry for the better.
We’re delighted to announce that Freddy Pullar, who has been with Renewable Parts early 2017, has been shortlisted as a finalist in the Business Development Award Category for his contributions to Renewable Parts, and the wider industry.
Freds work has been centred largely around re-introducing a supply chain for Endurance turbines and implementing and customising software to help manage customers inventory levels, capturing consumption data at an individual turbine level. This detailed reporting has been game changing for internal planning and procurement. Customers can now track performance and cost of ownership with high levels of detail and accuracy. Fred’s work has reduced supply chain cost across the catalogue ultimately driving down the cost of turbine ownership.
The awards take place at Glasgow Science Centre on May 24th , we hope you can join us there!
