Renewable Parts has appointed Remi Zante as Chief Engineer, strengthening its engineering capability as the business continues to scale.

Remi joins from National Manufacturing Institute Scotland (NMIS) under a multi-year agreement, where he currently serves as Deputy Chief Technology Officer. In his new role, he will lead Renewable Parts’ research and development function, driving the development of engineering solutions that support the wind industry’s transition to net zero.

Headquartered in Renfrew, with an Innovation Centre in Lochgilphead, Renewable Parts specialises in circular economy solutions that extend the life of wind turbine components. By working across the supply chain, the business helps operators reduce waste, cost and carbon through the reuse of parts.

Remi will remain part of the NMIS team, strengthening collaboration between the two organisations and accelerating the transfer of technical capability into industry.

This appointment marks a deepening partnership between Renewable Parts and NMIS, embedding senior engineering expertise directly within a high-growth business operating in a priority sector. It also provides NMIS with valuable insight into the challenges of scaling circular manufacturing solutions in practice.
